Recently we visited Splashzone. My little guy (not yet 3) was very excited to play in the water and I had the option of getting wet or not. I chose to go in with him as it was his first time. At first he was unsure of the slides and stayed by the paddling pool for around fifteen minutes which he loved. Gradually he joined in with the others and was soon going down the slides to his heart's content. They were not as fast as I thought they might be. Indeed, the speed appeared to be governed by how much weight you carried so a little 2 year old went nice and slowly down most of them. The small slides were actually the fastest but had plenty of mats for him to bounce out the end onto.
Already he is asking when we are going back, which will probably be soon. The weather doesn't matter once you are inside the Splashzone so if it does snow over Easter, you know where we will be.
What they say about Splashzone.
Splash is indoor water play – so when you are stuck for what to do with your kids be it a dry, cold, snowy or rainy day, let the kids get wet with us while you stay dry.
Kids get wet, no need to put your costume on Mum – mum and dad stay dry.
No arm bands needed. Your kids don’t need to be able to swim as there is no standing water!
Adults you need your children with you to enter – we don’t allow adults or children in unaccompanied.
We are designed for children, toddlers to 12 yrs. No hoards of teenagers rushing around.

You can sit with a coffee and see your kids as they play - plenty of off water seating.
Got little one’s – your entrance fee includes the Mickey Mouse Club House Play Zone. Perfect for children under 1m in height – so water play & soft play for one price under one roof.
